If the remaining balance is not completed in this timeframe — and no alternative arrangement has been approved — the deposit will be forfeited and the vehicle will be released back into the public market.

What are the down payment options?
We offer three flexible down payment plans: $500 for a 72-hour hold, $800 for a 7-day hold, or $1,000 for a 14-day hold. Choose the plan that gives you the time you need to complete your purchase. The specific minimum required may vary by vehicle.
What payment methods do you accept?
Our preferred payment method is ACH bank transfer via Stripe secure checkout. We also accept verified debit and credit card purchases through secure Link connection. Additional payment methods are available upon request — contact us to discuss your preferred option.
Can I make a down payment virtually?
Yes! You can complete your down payment entirely online using our secure Stripe checkout system. For ACH bank transfers or verified card payments, simply submit your request and you'll be guided through the secure payment process. For virtual purchases, we'll assign you a dedicated agent for document signing.
Is my down payment refundable?
No, all down payments are non-refundable. When you make a deposit, you are committing to complete the purchase within your selected hold period. Please ensure you're ready to finalize your purchase before making a down payment.
Can I transfer my deposit to a different vehicle?
Deposit transfers to a different vehicle are only permitted if agreed upon with our team before your hold period deadline. Contact us immediately if you need to discuss alternative options. All transfers are subject to approval and must be arranged in advance.
What happens if I can't complete the purchase in time?
If you're unable to complete the remaining balance within your hold period, please contact us immediately. We'll work with you to find a solution. However, if the purchase is not completed and no arrangement is made, the down payment will be forfeited and the vehicle will be made available to other buyers.
Do you check credit?
No! We do not perform credit checks for our down payment plans. This process is designed to be simple and accessible, regardless of your credit history. As long as you can make the down payment and complete the remaining balance within the timeframe, you can purchase the vehicle.
Can I upgrade to a longer hold period?
Yes! If you've selected a shorter hold period and need more time, you can upgrade to a longer hold period by paying the difference. For example, if you chose the $500 (72-hour) plan, you can upgrade to the $800 (7-day) or $1,000 (14-day) plan. Contact us to arrange an upgrade.
Can I test drive before making the down payment?
Absolutely! We encourage you to schedule a test drive before making any financial commitment. Contact us to arrange a convenient time to inspect and test drive any vehicle you're interested in. We want you to be completely confident in your purchase.

Terms and Conditions

1. Down Payment & Vehicle Hold Agreement

Your down payment secures a hold period on the selected vehicle based on your chosen payment tier:

  • $500 Deposit: 72-hour (3-day) hold period
  • $800 Deposit: 7-day hold period
  • $1,000 Deposit: 14-day hold period

The hold period begins immediately upon receipt and verification of your down payment. Full payment of the remaining balance must be received within your hold period or the deposit will be forfeited.

2. Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

All down payments are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Inability to secure financing
  • Discovery of information about the vehicle that was publicly available
  • Failure to complete purchase within the hold period

3. Vehicle Condition - AS-IS Sale

ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD "AS-IS" WITH NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. This includes but is not limited to:

  • No warranty of merchantability
  • No warranty of fitness for a particular purpose
  • No warranty regarding vehicle condition, mileage accuracy, or future performance
  • Buyer accepts full responsibility for any and all repairs needed after purchase

Buyers are strongly encouraged to conduct independent inspections before submitting a down payment.

4. Payment Process & Timeline

After your down payment is received and approved:

  • You will receive an electronic signature packet via email within 24 hours
  • The packet includes the vehicle hold agreement and purchase terms
  • You must sign and return all documents within 48 hours
  • Full payment must be received before the end of your hold period
  • You may pay the balance early at any time during the hold period
  • Vehicle ownership transfers only upon receipt of full payment

5. Vehicle Availability & Approval

Submitting a down payment request does NOT guarantee vehicle reservation. PureSelect Auto reserves the right to:

  • Decline any down payment request for any reason
  • Verify buyer information and ability to complete purchase
  • Cancel the transaction if fraud or misrepresentation is suspected
  • Sell the vehicle to another buyer if hold period expires

If we decline your request, any deposit paid will be refunded within 5-7 business days.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

By proceeding, you acknowledge and agree that you:

  • Have viewed or had the opportunity to view the vehicle
  • Understand the vehicle is sold as-is with no warranties
  • Are financially capable of completing the full purchase
  • Will arrange your own financing if needed
  • Will provide valid identification and complete all required paperwork
  • Understand deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances

7. Legal Disclaimers

PureSelect Auto makes no representations or warranties about vehicle history, accident reports, or previous damage beyond what is explicitly disclosed in writing. Buyers are responsible for:

  • Obtaining independent vehicle history reports
  • Conducting pre-purchase inspections
  • Verifying all vehicle information independently
  • Understanding state-specific title and registration requirements
